Why this Blog?

Upon graduating high school, I had a 3.8 GPA un-weighted. I was named most athletic for my class,   beating out my friend who had earned two state titles and an All-American status in swimming. I was unsure how it had happened. My friend was more than an exceptional athlete.
I was ecstatic, regardless of my friend’s loss.

I assumed my life was on the right track, but in actuality it couldn’t have been any worse. College would soon open my eyes to a whole new reality, and never again would I be the same.

This blog serves to shine light on an important concept I’ve only recently discovered. Who I am, the lessons I’ve learned, and how I’ve shaped my life has come from experiences in my past. Simply put, the person that I’ve become today can easily be traced back to my interactions with others and events that have unfolded before me in my twenty-one years of life.

School and work have had little influence as to who I have become. Most my life lessons have come from outside these two institutions.
For this reason, this blogs seeks to describe these events, as well as explain how it has molded me into a better individual.

So come read, subscribe, comment, and participate in following me along as I continue to share with you my life’s journey. Share your thoughts with me. Help to continue opening my eyes and influencing my growth as another human being by sharing your own unique ideas, experiences, and perspectives.

I hope this blog can help to open your eyes to all the joys of life, as well as continue shaping my own, and inevitably help to influence our outlooks on life for the better, from these newfound perspectives.
